ROFLChan Privacy Policy

When you visit our site, your browser will receive a session cookie that is designed to keep track of your form preferences. These form preferences include whether you want to view not safe for work (NSFW) items, animated GIFs, videos, or pictures, and whether you want to browse using our gallery view, or the list view. If you have a ROFLChan account, this session cookie also helps keep track of whether you are logged in or not.

When you register on our website, we ask you to enter a username. This username is linked to your Facebook account. When you post items to our site, the item will appear alongside your username. However, your facebook profile will not be revealed. This is designed to protect your privacy.

Items (such as pictures or videos) on our site have Facebook discussion threads associated with them. If you choose to participate in these discussions, your Facebook identity will be revealed, as the discussion is handled entirely by Facebook. Your posts will not, however, reveal the username that you registered on ROFLChan under. Your own submissions to this site are therefore made in an anonymous manner.

This site contains adverts, which are provided by Google. A detailed description of Google's advert privacy policy can be found here. If you don't want to see ads, we recommend that you download a plugin such as Adblock Plus. This plugin will remove all the adverts from our website. We prefer you to see ads though as this helps pay for the hosting. The choice to see ads is nevertheless entirely up to you.
